Choosing around those preferences makes the bouquet feel like their gift, even when several people contribute.

Mary combines roses, eucalyptus, African greenery and patterned carnations. Compare it with Andrea or Amapola if you want different flowers in one arrangement. Check the current compositions and seasonal variations; Amapola is the bouquet name and does not mean it contains poppies.

Before ordering, agree a budget for the complete gift, who will write the card and how you will sign it. “Thank you for teaching us to find a way together. Your team” explains the gesture without turning the message into a list of job titles. One person can collect the contributions and check that everyone is included.

For an office in Abando or Indautxu, confirm the company name, floor and who receives parcels. If they split their week between the office and home, ask where they will be that day; a saved work address does not confirm their attendance.

A farewell after many years at work brings together different memories. One colleague may remember their first piece of help; another, a conversation that changed a difficult day. Choose one of those moments for the card, then leave room for what comes next: a hobby, family time or plans made without a work calendar.

Adapt the words to your relationship. If you do not know their plans, wish them a happy next chapter without assuming travel, grandchildren or particular activities.

Decide whether the flowers will be part of the farewell or a gift waiting at home afterwards. If the day ends with a meal and a journey, receiving them at home may make it easier to arrange them when things are quiet. Choose a date available for the order; do not plan on the courier arriving at the exact moment of a speech.

Home, office or accommodation: plan around receiving the gift

“They live in Deusto” or “they work in Indautxu” may be enough in conversation. To prepare the delivery, we need the full address: street, number, flat or door, postcode and municipality. Keep the names as they appear in the address the recipient provides.

At their Bilbao home

In Casco Viejo, Santutxu or Miribilla, confirm the exact entrance and flat. If another member of the household will receive the gift, arrange for them to accept it and let the recipient know.

At work

Add the company and department when they help identify the recipient. Ask whether reception accepts personal gifts and how these reach the person. Consider how they will take the flowers home afterwards.

At a hotel or residence

Euskalduna is in Bilbao; BEC is in Barakaldo

If you want to congratulate someone attending a conference or trade fair, the event name is not enough to decide where to send their bouquet. Palacio Euskalduna gives its address as avenida Abandoibarra, 4, Bilbao. Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) lists Ronda de Azkue, 1, Barakaldo. Both may feature in plans for a trip to Bilbao, but their postal municipalities are different.

Ask where the person will be able to receive and enjoy the flowers. Their hotel, usual office or home after the trip may work better. A venue’s published address does not confirm that it accepts bouquets for participants: agree receiving arrangements with your chosen destination before ordering.

Likewise, check the municipality when someone says they live “in the Bilbao area”. Getxo, Basauri and Portugalete have their own names in the address; do not replace them with Bilbao. Enter the actual details and check available dates. For help with a destination, use contact and include the town and postcode.

The colours they enjoy can be your best clue

Compare the selected size and presentation you are buying. A photograph of a bouquet being held helps show it in someone’s hands, but does not establish fixed dimensions. If it needs to suit a particular vase or space, ask before choosing. Check what the selected option includes and which extras are added separately.

A card that sounds like you

Your personal message is included. Write it in the language you share: Spanish, Basque, English or whichever you use together. Keep names, accents and the signature exactly as you want them to appear. If you are not confident in a language, ask someone you trust to check the sentence before submitting it.

We are a family florist established in 1975, preparing bouquets by hand in our workshop in Spain. They travel by carrier with Aquapack hydration and Persa’s protective box. On arrival, follow the included instructions and prepare a clean vase with water to enjoy the flowers at home.

You can choose online from another city or from outside Spain, using our English-language store if you prefer. Keep street, company and accommodation names as supplied; translating them may make the destination harder to identify.

  2. Available date. Choose a date offered by the cart calendar. Writing a date in the card or an order note does not replace that selection. We do not offer delivery on the day of purchase.
  3. Details and final total. Confirm the address, municipality, postcode and recipient’s telephone number. Delivery is added to the bouquet and extras; review the total before paying.

Questions before sending flowers to Bilbao

Which bouquet works as a gift from the team?

First ask whether the location accepts personal flowers, who will receive them and which details they need. Confirm that the person will be there on your selected date before ordering.

Which municipality should I enter for BEC?

BEC lists its address in Barakaldo. Use the actual municipality of the agreed destination; if the gift will be received at a hotel or home, use that address instead.

Can I write the card in Basque?

You can supply your message in the language you share. Check spelling, names and the signature before confirming. The card with your message is included with the bouquet.

Will the photo I receive show my own bouquet?

Yes. Before dispatch, we send a photograph of the bouquet prepared for your order. The Azulona example in this guide belongs to another order destined for Bilbao.

Can I send flowers to someone studying at Deusto?

Confirm where they live and can receive the flowers. For a residence, ask about personal parcel reception. The university name does not replace their address or confirm that the gift will be accepted.
