When choosing flowers for a graduation, start with the handover: a bouquet taken to the ceremony needs to fit around photographs and the journey home; a bouquet sent to the graduate’s home can be chosen mainly around their taste and where they will display it. Colour matters, but so do who receives it, where it waits and what happens after the ceremony.
At Persa, we send you a photograph of your finished bouquet before dispatch. If you cannot attend the graduation, you can still see the gift you have chosen. Start with our bouquet collection, then use these checks to narrow your choice.
Will you take it to the ceremony or send it to their home?
For an in-person gift, check the venue’s rules and arrange who will look after the flowers during the ceremony. Someone carrying a gown, a folder and other gifts may appreciate receiving the bouquet afterwards. Do not assume that a university or auditorium can accept a delivery addressed to a student.
If the ceremony is followed by a meal, a journey or several hours away from home, arrange somewhere suitable for the bouquet and follow its care instructions. Protection for delivery does not replace a vase at home. If that handover is difficult to organise, sending flowers to the home on an available delivery date may be simpler.
Two real styles to compare
These two options from our catalogue were checked on 21 October 2026. The recommendations are based on their composition and presentation; we have not measured their weight or tested carrying them at a ceremony.
Helios: yellow sunflowers as the main feature, with a loose, natural look. The vase in the image is sold separately; confirm dimensions before taking it to the ceremony.
Mojácar: a white and green palette with kraft wrapping. The listing allows seasonal variation; confirm size and any essential flower.
Helios: for someone who enjoys yellow
Helios combines yellow sunflowers, small filler flowers and plenty of green foliage. Gift wrapping, ribbon and a personalised message are included. Its displayed price at this check was €55.50, before delivery. The Sakura vase shown in an image is sold separately.
It can suit someone who likes sunflowers and would enjoy seeing them at the centre of the gift. Do not choose it on the assumption of an exact stem count or flowers that are equally open: the listing allows variation in how open the sunflowers are and in some foliage details.

Mojácar: for a preference for white and green
Mojácar lists white single-flower chrysanthemums, white snapdragons, baby’s breath and eucalyptus, wrapped in kraft paper with ribbon. A gift message, flower food and care instructions are included. Its displayed price was €59, before delivery.
It is an alternative for someone who prefers a light palette to a yellow bouquet. The listing allows small seasonal variations, so it does not promise an exact copy of the photograph. Do not assume a vase is included: check your chosen extras before paying.

Choose size and colour around the person
There is no compulsory flower colour for a graduation. Start with the recipient’s favourite flowers or colours. If you want to match a gown or university colours, confirm the composition before ordering; an example photograph does not establish that an exact palette can be guaranteed.
For a bouquet that will be carried, ask for the approximate dimensions of the prepared arrangement. A “Large” label or studio photograph cannot tell you whether it will be comfortable alongside a folder and a bag. If several people plan to bring flowers, consider coordinating one bouquet and a shared message.
A card that recognises the effort
Mention something specific: “For all those hours of study and for not giving up. Congratulations on your graduation!” For a group gift, include names or a signature the graduate will recognise. You can find more ideas in our messages to accompany a bouquet.
Before ordering, settle three things: who will receive the bouquet, where it will wait and how it will get home. Then check the product, variant, address, available date and total in the basket. Persa delivers to mainland Spain; applicable dates and delivery charges are shown during your purchase. The prices and availability in this guide may change.
