Flowers for a new business opening in Spain: when and what to send

Before sending flowers to congratulate someone on a new business opening, check whether the premises can receive a parcel and who will have somewhere to put the bouquet. Opening day may be crowded with preparation and customers; a gift arriving without a named recipient or a container can become another task. If nobody can take responsibility during the event, the first quieter day after opening may be a better choice.

Choose the date and recipient first

Ask the owner or a member of the team whether they would prefer the flowers before the event, on a normal working day or at another address. Check the premises' actual opening hours and who will accept the parcel: a business address alone does not guarantee receipt. Add the business name, recipient, full address and contact phone number to the order. Choose a date offered in the basket calendar; do not promise that the bouquet will arrive at the opening hour. Persa delivers to mainland Spain, and the available options are shown when you order.

If you are congratulating a friend, address the card to that person. If the gift comes from another business, clearly name the individual or team sending it. A short message works: “Congratulations on opening. It is wonderful to see your project become real. From [name].” If you are uncertain about their taste, our guide to choosing a bouquet when you do not know their preferences explains what to check.

Vase-presented or wrapped bouquet?

We compared Persa's listings and available variants on 25 October 2026. We have not measured the business counter or checked whether flowers are suitable for its customer area. Ask where the gift can go and whether they have a container; no product listing establishes that a bouquet fits a particular space.

Coral combines soft coral or orange roses, white lisianthus, green santini and varied greenery. Its listing says it is presented in a glass vase; flower varieties may change with the season while retaining the style and palette. The Original variant is listed at €70, before delivery. It may be practical if the recipient has an appropriate place for flowers but no spare vase. View Coral.

Helios combines yellow sunflowers, small filler flowers and green foliage in a wild-style design. It includes gift wrapping, a ribbon and a personal message; the Sakura vase in its photograph is sold separately. The Original variant is listed at €55.50, before delivery. A wrapped bouquet may suit an in-person handover if the recipient can put it in water afterwards. The sunflowers' opening stage and some details may vary. View Helios.

Before you pay

Confirm who will accept the parcel, the display space and container, the date offered and the total including delivery. Do not choose on the assumption that one flower universally means “good luck” or that delivery will happen at an exact hour. Persa sends the buyer a photo of the actual bouquet before dispatch, so you can see what was prepared; this does not imply advance approval or prove delivery. If opening day cannot offer reliable receipt, arrange another date with the business.
