If you want to thank a teacher with flowers, first decide who is signing the gift and who can receive it. The Margarita photo accompanying this guide shows a vase; its listing specifies kraft wrapping and does not confirm that a vase is included. A bouquet from the whole class needs agreement among families and a shared card. A gift from one family can be more personal. In either case, sending flowers to school only works if the school accepts parcels for staff and somebody can take delivery.
From the class or one family?
In Spain, Teacher’s Day is 27 November, according to the Alicante professional teachers’ association. A school may mark it differently or not hold an event. Before proposing a group gift, ask whether families want to join, agree a budget and decide whether you are thanking one person or several. The card should say who it is from; nobody has to contribute for the gesture to count.
For a family gift, a specific memory says more than a grand phrase: “Thank you for helping Lucía feel confident reading aloud. The Ruiz family.” You could hand over the bouquet yourself if the school permits it. Do not interrupt a lesson for the sake of a surprise. Interflora’s guide to flowers for teachers distinguishes group from individual gifts and suggests checking school receipt. Its delivery arrangements are Interflora’s, not Persa’s.
To school or to their home?
For school delivery, ask the office whether it accepts flowers, whose name should be on the parcel, who will be there to receive it and which contact number to give. Check the date offered in the order calendar. If the bouquet must appear during a ceremony or at an exact time, arrange for somebody at school to present it in person; a courier arrival should not be assumed to coincide with the event.
If the school cannot accept parcels or nobody can receive them, agree a home delivery date with the teacher from those available. Do not share their address in a family group or guess it. Getting the handover right matters more than finding a supposedly “required” flower for teachers.
Two real Persa options
We checked the public product pages and variants on 2 November 2026. Margarita combines white and pink gerberas with pink roses and comes wrapped in kraft paper. Original was available for €48, before delivery. Margarita’s product photo shows the bouquet in a vase. Its listing specifies kraft wrapping and does not confirm that a vase is included. We have not measured the bouquet or tested carrying it around a school; make sure somebody can receive and look after it.
Coral combines coral roses, white lisianthus and other flowers and greenery. Its listing includes a glass vase. Original was available for €70, before delivery. It can suit a teacher who can receive and display the vase; do not assume the school has somewhere to keep it. Flower varieties may change with the season. Persa sends the buyer a photo of the actual bouquet before dispatch, without asking for approval before shipping.
