If the team wants to give flowers to a colleague leaving for another job, first decide when they can receive and take home the bouquet. Their final working day may involve an empty desk, boxes and a journey home. An office handover works when someone can accept the delivery and the colleague can carry the flowers away. Otherwise, arrange home delivery for a date that suits them. Do not send a surprise parcel to their new employer.
Last day at work or later at home?
For a group farewell, ask the organiser whether the workplace accepts personal deliveries, who will receive the order and whether the colleague can take the bouquet home. Provide the recipient's name, company, full address and reception phone number. The basket calendar shows available dates; a courier delivery cannot be timed to a farewell speech. If flowers need to appear at a particular moment, separately arrange for someone to have the bouquet in hand.
If the final day involves moving, travel or paperwork, discreetly ask which home delivery date would suit them. Check the address and who can receive the gift. Sending flowers to the new office would first require the person's agreement and the new workplace's acceptance; an unexpected parcel on a first day can add a task.

A team card that fits the departure
A specific short message can acknowledge your time together and the next step: “Thank you for everything you brought to the team. Wishing you the best in your new job.
