Before sending Grandma birthday flowers, decide where she will be and who can receive the bouquet. If she lives at home, check that she or someone close to her will be available. If she lives in a care residence, ask that particular residence whether it accepts flowers, whose name belongs on the delivery, and how the gift reaches her room. There is no single rule for every residence.
If she will receive them at home
Ask her, or someone she trusts, which day she will be home and whether she has somewhere to put the flowers. Then check the date offered by the basket calendar. Do not assume she will be at home on her birthday itself. If she likes sunflowers and already has a vase, Helios is a wrapped bouquet with ribbon and personal message included. The pictured Sakura vase is sold separately. Original was available for €55.50, before delivery, on 30 October 2026. Sunflower opening and some greenery details may vary.

If she lives in a care residence
Call the specific residence before ordering. Check whether it accepts cut flowers, who takes in a parcel, the full name needed for delivery, and whether someone can bring the bouquet to her. Ask about space and a vase, too; do not assume reception will arrange either or that visiting hours govern parcel deliveries. If flowers cannot be received there, agree on a visit or another address before paying.
To avoid asking her to find a container, Coral is listed as presented in a glass vase. Its listing describes soft coral or orange roses, white lisianthus, green santini and greenery, with possible seasonal flower substitutions. Original was available for €70, before delivery, on 30 October 2026. The vase solves one practical detail, but does not establish that the residence accepts the gift.

A message that sounds like you
Write something she will recognise: “Happy birthday, Grandma. I was thinking of our afternoons over coffee. Love, Marta.” If several people are giving the bouquet, decide who signs the card. Persa includes your message and sends the buyer a photo of the actual bouquet before dispatch. That photo shows what was prepared; it is not advance approval or proof of delivery.
If you are still choosing a bouquet style, read our general guide to choosing birthday flowers for delivery. For this order, check the receiving person's name and phone number, full address, date available in the basket, variant and total including delivery before paying. Persa delivers across mainland Spain.
