When to Add Chocolates to a Bouquet—and When to Send Flowers Only

Cuándo añadir bombones a un ramo y cuándo elegir solo flores - Persa Flores

Adding chocolates to a bouquet makes sense when you know the recipient enjoys them and you want the gift to combine flowers with something to share or savour. It is not a required upgrade and does not automatically make a bouquet better. If you do not know their preferences, want the flowers to carry the full message or cannot check whether chocolate is suitable, send the bouquet on its own.

Then choose between two routes: a ready-made bundle, which simplifies the decision, or a bouquet and a box of chocolates selected separately, which gives you more control over the flowers. The flower bouquets with chocolates collection shows current combinations; the product page and cart remain the authority for the exact item, variant and date.

If you want… Option to compare What you control What to check
Flowers and chocolates in one product Red Roses with Chocolates Rose count within the bundle Available variant and listed contents
To choose the bouquet first Bouquet + Caja Roja Chocolates Floral style and add-on separately That both remain available in the order
A clearly romantic message Premium Red Roses + chocolates Rose count and sweet detail That the recipient enjoys chocolate
A composition less focused on roses Andrea + chocolates Mixed flowers and add-on Possible seasonal variation

Choose a bundle for one straightforward decision

Red Roses with Chocolates combines both parts on one product page. On 14 September, it showed four available variants: 6, 12, 18 and 24 roses with chocolates. It is the most direct route when red roses suit the message and you want to choose the stem count without assembling the combination separately.

The bundle reduces decisions, but it also fixes the floral style. If red or an overtly romantic tone does not suit the relationship, start with a different bouquet and treat chocolate as an optional extra.

Choose the box separately when the flowers come first

Caja Roja Chocolates was publicly available as an add-on in the 14 September review. Its product page listed a box of 11 assorted chocolates delivered with the bouquet. This route works when you have already chosen the floral composition and want to add the extra afterwards.

Check the final cart. The fact that an add-on has a product page does not prove it is available with every bouquet, address or date, so do not replace that check with a general promise.

Premium Red Roses when you want to control the stem count

Premium Red Roses lets you choose among several rose quantities. On 14 September, its publicly available variants ranged from 5 to 24 stems. Compared with a fixed bundle, this route is useful when you want to choose the bouquet size first and then check whether to add the chocolate box.

In the eligible paid-order extract, Premium Red Roses appeared with Caja Roja Chocolates in 17 orders. That is a real purchase observation, not proof that it is the best pairing or that it belongs to a particular occasion.

Andrea when you prefer mixed flowers

Andrea combines lisianthus, alstroemeria, carnations, mastic and limonium according to its current product page, which also warns that colour or flower choice may vary seasonally. It separates the decision “I want chocolates” from “I want red roses”.

Andrea appeared with Caja Roja Chocolates in five eligible orders from the same extract. The count confirms that people have bought the combination; it does not establish popularity, satisfaction or suitability for every recipient.

When flowers alone are the better choice

Send flowers alone when you do not know whether the recipient wants chocolate, when the extra would distract from the message or when you prefer to put the budget into the bouquet. It is also the cautious option when you cannot confirm relevant preferences. The guide to choosing a bouquet when you do not know their taste helps reduce uncertainty without adding extras by default.

A gift message serves a different purpose: it explains why you are sending the flowers. If the words matter most, review these ideas for messages to accompany flowers and keep the choice of flowers and add-ons separate from the wording.

What the real orders show

We reviewed a twelve-month Shopify extract closed on 5 September 2026. After excluding tests, cancellations, point-of-sale orders and unpaid financial states, 593 eligible orders remained. In 94 of them—15.85%—at least one product name identified chocolate or chocolates.

Caja Roja Chocolates accounted for 88 units. Orders containing that box included many different bouquets: Premium Red Roses appeared in 17, Amor in 11 and Andrea in 5, among others. The evidence shows variety and genuine use. It does not reveal why each customer bought, measure satisfaction or turn the percentage into a universal recommendation.

The practical decision is simple: first confirm that chocolate is suitable, then choose between a fixed bundle and a flexible combination, and finally check current availability. Return to the flowers with chocolates collection to compare what is currently offered.
