To choose flowers for a marriage proposal, begin with three decisions: how you will present the bouquet, how much control you want over its format, and which part of the message should be written down. A higher rose count does not make the proposal more personal. The bouquet should fit your partner's taste and the plan itself, not compete with either.
The bouquets for saying “I love you” collection remains the commercial owner: use it to compare what is currently for sale. This guide answers a different question: how do you coordinate the flowers, timing and message without assuming there is one compulsory proposal bouquet?
| If you want control over… | Option to compare | What the current page lists | Decision to make |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rose quantity | Amor | 1 to 18 roses, plus 24; kraft paper and a message | How much visual presence you want without turning the number into a code |
| The mixed composition listed on the product page | Alma | Red and spray roses, lisianthus, statice, eucalyptus and foliage | Whether you prefer red with white and mauve contrast |
| Flowers and keepsakes in one pack | Red Roses with Candle and Instax Photo | 6, 12, 18 or 24 roses, candle, photo and card | Whether you have the photo ready and want a multi-part gift |
Decide when the flowers should appear
There are three practical moments: before you ask, during the proposal or afterwards. Presenting the flowers first makes them part of the arrival and may signal that the occasion is special. Bringing them out during the proposal means somebody needs to store or hold them while you talk. Giving them afterwards lets the bouquet close the moment and reduces the pressure of coordinating flowers and the question at once.
None of these sequences is universally better. Choose the one that resembles the way you both handle important moments. If your partner dislikes public surprises, a discreet handover matters more than bouquet size. If the flowers must be present at a precise time, arrange who will receive and store them; do not make a delivery window the centrepiece of the plan.
Before ordering, check the available date for the exact address in the cart. A product being available today does not guarantee every destination or date, and this guide does not replace that final check.
Amor when you want to choose the rose count
Amor lets you choose 1 through 18 roses, plus a 24-rose option. Every one of those public variants appeared available on 24 September. The product page says the flowers are wrapped in kraft paper with ribbon and that a personalised message can be included.
Of the three options, this gives you the most control over rose count. That control lets you choose how many roses you want to give, but it does not turn a number into a promise. If twelve, eighteen or another number has a private meaning for you, explain it in the card rather than assuming a shared interpretation.
The current description names red roses, eucalyptus and mixed greenery. Check the displayed price after selecting the variant and before paying.

Alma when you prefer a composition with contrast
Alma had one red variant available when checked. Its published composition combines red roses and red spray roses with white and cream lisianthus, mauve statice, eucalyptus and green foliage.
Compare it with Amor when the question is not “more or fewer roses” but “one flower type or a mix”. Alma keeps red in the composition while white, cream, mauve and foliage break up the uniform colour. That is an observable product difference, not a guarantee that your partner will prefer it.
Choose this route only if the mixture suits their taste. If one flower or colour is essential, read the product page again before ordering and resolve any detail that cannot be allowed to vary.

Roses with a candle and photo for a ready-made pack
Red Roses with Candle and Instax Photo showed four available variants: 6, 12, 18 or 24 roses. The current page lists red roses, a scented soy candle, an Instax photo and a card with a message.
This option simplifies the choice if you already have a suitable photograph and want a physical keepsake alongside the flowers. It also creates more details to check. Prepare an image your partner would be comfortable keeping and review the exact listed contents. If you do not have the right photo or want the bouquet to carry the whole gesture, Amor or Alma leave the format more open.
The candle and photo do not make a proposal automatically more personal. They are useful only when they connect to your shared story and you genuinely want them in the moment.

Write a card that supports the proposal rather than replacing it
Decide whether you will ask in person or whether the card plays a larger role. When you will be speaking face to face, the message can preserve a date, place or phrase that belongs to you without reproducing an entire speech. If the flowers arrive afterwards, it can thank your partner for the moment and capture one thought you both want to keep.
Avoid a generic line when the rest of the plan is highly specific. A simple structure works: one shared memory, what you value about the relationship, and one sentence that sounds like you. These message ideas for a flower bouquet are a starting point, not a script.
If you are still choosing between classic roses and a mixed arrangement, the guide to flowers for your girlfriend by style helps organise colour and taste. Your partner's actual preference is more useful than a fixed symbolism rule.
What the real orders contribute
We reviewed a twelve-month Shopify extract closed on 5 September 2026. After excluding tests, cancellations, point-of-sale orders and unpaid financial states, 593 eligible orders remained. The three products in this comparison appeared in 48 distinct orders: Amor in 44, Alma in one, and the roses, candle and photo pack in three.
Recorded Amor purchases covered variants from 1 to 24 roses. The candle-and-photo pack had recorded purchases of the 6-, 12- and 18-rose variants. These figures confirm genuine purchases and keep the shortlist from being arbitrary, but they do not identify marriage-proposal orders, measure satisfaction or prove that one format is better. Base the decision on your partner's taste and current availability.
A final check before ordering
Confirm four things: the variant, the wording on the card, the address and the date shown in the cart. Then decide who will receive or store the bouquet and when it will appear. If your partner prefers privacy, respect that even if the plan feels less theatrical.
The useful rule is simple: Amor gives you control over rose count; Alma provides a red composition with contrasting flowers; the pack adds a candle and photo. Choose only after deciding what part the flowers will play in your moment. Review the available bouquets for saying “I love you” and verify the product and date before buying.
